Scanning IMDB and came across “Rutles 2: Can’t Buy Me Lunch” from 2002 on TV. I loved the first “Rutles: All you Need is Cash” but never even knew they made a sequel.
Anybody know when and where this was shown? Any comments or reviews too?

It hasn’t actually been on TV. Yet.
I wonder if it’s good. I loved “All You Need is Cash” and the album, but I heard only bad things about the “Archaeology” CD.
I didn’t care for “Archaeology” the first time I heard it, I had to give it a few more trys to figure out the Beatle songs or timeframe it was supposed to represent. Now I find that it stands up right along side the “first” Rutles album, especially the song Shangra-La…perfect Hey Jude/All You Need is Love type song.

From what I’ve heard about The Rutles “sequel” is that it has been screened in LA recently (maybe for distributors?) and that Tom Hanks is in it.
