Um, you do mean the veterans who actually served with Kerry, and were on stage at the DNC with him when he accepted the nomination, right?
'cuz I know you’re not talking about those “Swift Bullshitters for Bush” kids, because none of them served with Kerry. If you believe otherwise, that just shows how far out of touch you are.
'Course, I meant to highlight “with” in that post. Anyway…
I dunno, how much coverage did CBS give the SBVfT? I can’t seem to recall them holding any opinion on them. And I’d guarantee that if the SBVfT hadn’t come out with their info, and CBS had their hands on it, they would have given it the same treatment they gave the forged documents. If you don’t believe that, then *you’re * drinking the Kool-Aid.
Yes, you are. You just won’t admit it and are thus betraying your nation to CBS/the liberal elite/the gay agenda/the Zionist-Occupied Government/ etc.
Heh.
As for the “kool-aid” thing, Razor gets locked into cycles of insult because the initial response is (usually) indigniation, which to him seems to prove accuracy, and thus he likes to repeat the insult endlessly in hopes of repeating that first orgasmic rush of pleasure. I guess it was my fault for trying to be sarcastic with my “starting gate” remark. In hindsight, I should have said:
Bryan: Kool-aid? I haven’t had that since I was a kid. I actually prefer root beer and milk, though not at the same time, of course (eww).
Razor: (trying to get that indignation response) No, man, it’s like you’re a cult member.
Bryan: It is? Is Kool-aid owned by the Moonies, or something? Whew, good thing I don’t drink it ‘cause I don’t like the Moonies and wouldn’t want to support their cause. That’s also why I wouldn’t pay to see Battlefield Earth, because of the scientologist angle, though I did eventually catch it on cable, and boy did it suck, let me tell you (spends two or three paragraphs deconstructing BE).
Razor: It’s like you’re a member of Jim Jones’ cult, ready to chug the Kool-aid.
Bryan: Who?
Razor: (continues to waste time and energy explaining the connection between Jim Jones and CBS and looking foolish in the process, while I bait him by feigning ignorance)
Easy there, cookie. You’re just one of a small group of extremist members who get that reaction. I haven’t done any tallies, but I’ll bet Diogenes the Cynic, Aldeberan, Liberal, december (remember him?), Reeder and manhattan have all racked up way more Pit-miles than you.
Heck, if GWB was a member, he’d be WAY out in front.
Hmm… where to begin. If the SBVFT did not come out with their info, how else would CBS get it?
Why would CBS not want to use the info just because the SBVFT came out with it?
How about if the SBVFT did come out with their info, what would prevent CBS from giving it the same treatment as the forged documents.
CBS didn’t have the forged documents until Bill Burkett came out with them. Bill Burkett, a man Michael Hedges of the Houston Chronicle describes as having “a well-established history of Bush loathing”.
Hey man, this is just my first time in the PIT. Gimme a little more time. I’m just starting to imagine the possibilities without the threat of being banned hangin’ over my head.
Andros channels P.K. Dick: “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. C-beams glittering in the dark by the Tannhauser Gate.”
Although it was based on Dick’s novel, I’m pretty sure that line appears only in the Blade Runner screenplay, by Hampton Fancher and David Webb Peoples.
Still around, Razor, you pathetic little twit. So that’s one - what about the other two? And you call that an apology? You managed to apoligze and insult someone else in the same posting! Well done!
Just goes to show - conservative blowhards really are hypocritical, trite, emotionally mal-adjusted weasels who can’t prove anything so just shout louder.
