I live in Stockton…weekends would be unlikely. It’s easier for me to steal away for a long lunch or afternoon…but don’t let me stop you, if evenings or weekends work better for everybody else…
I’d like to join in the fun. It’s just a 2-hour drive for me. Give me a date and time, and I’ll try to be there.

Ok, well heck. Weekends work best for me. As it is, I’ll have to figure out how to call in for a half night off to do this. But I hope that it’ll be worth it.

Drachillix and Cyn can do most weekends with a few weeks notice. We are in Fresno bout 2.5 hour drive south.

Hmmm… it’s looking like this will probably be some weekend in March, to give enough folks enough time to make arrangements.

However, I would very much like to do this. Sadly, at this point I’m pretty much booked for the entire month of April (moving, and have a Drunken Chess Tournament to attend).

I wouldn’t mind seeing a few Dopers again, and since I don’t particularly want to see most of the BADs anymore, Sacramento is the closest venue. I’m intrigued by the idea of so many new (as far as having met in person) faces.

Ex- Sac Doper here (although it’s been years since I lived there).
But if I can nab a ticket to a Kings’ playoff game (sure, they’re going all the way and yeah, I flew up last year for game 5 of the Lakers series), then I would certainly make the trip. It just depends on the kindness of the ex-husband (dang, he got custody of the Giants and the Kings season tickets, but I got the condo in Palm Springs heh!)
So keep posting, since I’ll need some advance time to plan and make travel arrangements.
