Not the highest quality and the person filming it missed the actual drop part. The whole thing seemed very amateurish to me and i’m not sure but I thought I heared people laughing at the end.
I wonder how long it will be before the conspiracy theorists start claiming that he’s still alive and it was one of his body doubles that was executed.
This is the same cellphone video that’s all over the place; it shows him drop out of frame, but does not show the end of the drop and the presumed neck-snap.
The first video released was better quality and was shot from the platform. I assume that’s the official video, and that the ‘cell phone’ video was shot by some guy in the crowd. We (or at least I) have not seen the ‘official’ video yet.
As I watched the video we do see, I thought it would make a good sequence in a horror film. The rapid movement from the witness’s POV, the sudden darkness, and the flashes of the still cameras would work very well, I think.
The official filming I have seen so far shows the scarf and noose being placed around his neck but it ends there. I guess it won’t be long before the rest of that video is released.
