Heaven forbid, a worldwide pandemic of the Avian influenza (bird flu) occurs, where is the safest place to hunker down for a year or two, or however long it takes to pass?

Everyone on Earth is going to be thinking that same as you. What is remote now suddenly won’t be if there’s an outbreak.
Also, might birds be carriers of the human infectable strain? If so, you’d need a place without birds. Heck, Antarctica might not even work. Time to fire up the Sea Lab.
