So I see these banners ads showing up this week. Promising “Surf Sex Sites On the Job Without Your Boss Snooping!” Supposedly it conceals your online activity from the corporate bigbrotherware.
Can this be for real? Or is it too good to be true? Has anyone tried it? How long will it be before they have bigbrotherware that will pierce through the screen of safeweb? Once they figure out you’re hooked up with safeweb, will that be incriminating in itself?

The corporate big brother ware can see that you are connected to http://www.safeweb.com. The traffic between you and safeweb is encryted so your boss cannot tell where you are going by sniffing the network traffic.
Your boss could have some program on office computer that logs what you are doing. A lot of companies do install such programs. Not for spying on the employees specifically but to administer the computers. Safe web will do nothing about that. You are trusting safe web not to tell what you are doing.
All in all you probably can go look at the goat sex sites with your main worry being the boss will pop in to have you look at a document only to see what kind of a sicko you really are.
Hopefully they sell enough advertising to keep this funded.
