I am aware that I am one of the few, if not the only “Doper” who thinks sagging pants looks just fine but who is willing to back me up and say that this law is stupid.
I doubt it will go any further than it already has but it’s gone far enough already :smack: .

That article is from last May. The bill in question was rejected by the Louisiana House in June.
Well, I heard a similiar story on the radio tonight. I don’t remember where it was, though. I’m sure someone will be along and post a link. Agreed it’s an utterly ridiculous law. And really, I’m in my 30s and it’s as legitimate a fashion as any other that teenagers throughout the ages have adopted. It doesn’t look bad at all to me.
It will of course look ridiculous to START and everyone else 20 years from now, though, just as what I wore in HS in the 80s looks quite horrible now.
Found the story. It’s state bill in Virginia. It proposes a $50 fine for displaying underpants in a “lewd or indecent manner”. Virginia legislators must have an awful lot of time on their hands.
And it just occurred to me that Virginians who like wearing baggy pants should, to remain in full compliance , just stop wearing underwear. 
I think that sagging pants look silly, but this law is downright idiotic.
Just so you know, the droopy drawers bill died in the Virginia Senate yesterday…
And thereby trigger a wave of anti-public-asscrack legislation across the country. 
This just passed.
In the House…the Senate killed it. Apparently, because the coverage it was getting was “embarrassing.”
No it didn’t. It died in the Senate.
