Salad Fingers Episode 6 now up

It’s about time!

Our creepy little Flash-based friend is back. This episode is not as weird as previous ones, but I am curious where the ending is going to lead.

I’m curious, too, but at the rate he’s been releasing new episodes, it could be a year or more before we see Episode Seven. So far, each wait between episodes has been longer than the one before it—about half a month or so after each of the first three, three months between Episodes Four and Five, and then eight months between Episodes Five and Six.

When I first discovered “Salad Fingers” (through a link provided here on the SDMB), I registered on Fat-Pie’s message board (I’m still a member, I suppose, though I haven’t posted—or even lurked—in months) and I seem to remember him saying there that “Salad Fingers” was really difficult for him to write and that he didn’t really enjoy creating it. Kind of a creative strain, I suppose.

However, he writes on the Fat-Pie main page, “I’m sure many people thought we’d abandoned the series, but it was just resting its legs.” So, who knows…

Oh, and for anyone who’s not seen the series before, here are all the episodes to date:

Episode One: “Spoons”
Episode Two: “Friends”
Episode Three: “Nettles”
Episode Four: “Cage”
Episode Five: “Picnic”
Episode Six: “Present”

I love his movies, though I’m not sure why.

It’s like a plane crash, I suppose. I just can’t look away.

These films have the disturbing surreal quality very much like that of my nightmares.

All genius, says I. But The Milkman…that one’s just all kinds of wrong.

I think the Valentine’s Day Special was worse (it’s definitely not safe for work).
