Andros already told you after the first one:
And you still didn’t get it!
Here’s the breakdown for you:
At a minimum, this is just bad form when you’re quoting someone or something. The accepted practice is to use [sic] after whatever you consider to be the original misspelling and just leave the bloody misspelling alone. At worst, it shows your prejudice–see below.
That’s what’s known as an opinion, you freaking bigot. First: I’m LDS and therefore the LDS version of God just so happens to be the version of God to whom I refer when I use the term God. Second: Since you have absolutely no idea of who your audience is, you just might want to follow the advice andros gave you and leave your prejudices at the door.
And this you know exactly how? Did God {please note that I didn’t change the big G to a little G although, by your own criteria above, you and I appear to be talking about a different deity in your rather feeble mind} tell you that Himself? Did you actually witness the event of creation? Or are you pulling stuff out of your rump here? I note that you gave no citation for your statement.
And this you know exactly how? Did God tell you that Himself? Etc.
Many of those who are debating this on this board manage to do it without the stupidity you just showed. Hell, even vanilla managed to make a polite comment in the original thread!
Damn straight you could have been more tactful. You also could’ve pulled your head out of your rump before typing.
Exactly. That’s really basically a GQ and not, IMHO, a GD question: “Do the LDS believe Kolob is really a planet or do they consider it to be an allegory in scripture?” That was answered in the original thread with, essentially, “Some think it’s a real place and others think it’s allegory.”
Bullshit. That’s like saying, “It’s hard to decide if the Moon’s really there without discussing what the Moon’s all about in some Moon-worshipping religion.” What it’s about is irrelevant to the question of its physical existence.
Just for entertainment value, and especially in Great Debates, you just might want to put your beliefs on the back burner.
Damn straight.
As well you should be.
Well, we’ve determined that some believe it to be that and others to be an allegory. And it’s “LDS,” not “LSD.” The LDS church frowns on drug abuse.
Try to write complete sentences, please.
Could be. After all, there is this thing in the known universe called “Theory of Relativity.”
