Salt - Vinegar - Baking Soda

Salt - Vinegar - Baking Soda

What household cleaning/hygiene products could you get rid of and substitute one or a combo of the above? All of them?

Baking soda=shampoo
Vinegar=conditioning rinse
Baking soda=toothpaste
Salt+baking soda=neti pot refill
Salt+ice=clean coffee pot

salt+vinegar=clean copper clad pots

Vinegar & water - glass cleaner

I use baking soda for everything-- cleanser for pots, toothpaste, hand soap, deodorizer, detergent booster in laundry, antacid, grill cleaner, carpet cleaner, coffee pot cleaner…

Rita’s right. Baking soda IS Sybil![sup]1[/sup]

[1]I wanted a video, but couldn’t find one. Sorry!

If I had to nix one of the three, I guess I would choose the salt. Baking soda would work in it’s place, I think, for pretty much everything. The reverse isn’t true. As long as I could still use salt for cooking.

I use kosher salt (because it’s so coarse and gritty) and very hot water to scrub my cutting boards.
