Arriving fashionably late to this thread but umm… what’s the consensus? How’d it turn out? Judging by the good humour shown by both Sam and Luci above, it didn’t go too well from the OP’s point of view?
I think were I the OP I’d think twice before pitting someone again. Its always grim when you attempt to pit someone and end up with heaping helpings of egg on your face. This thread reminds me of my one and only pit thread…it was nearly this lame. Better luck next time Sam…

I think the OP is at the taxidermist now waiting to be hung over Sam’s mantle. There is an episode of Kid’s In The Hall where a little punk walks up to this big guy in a bar and orders him outside. The little punk backs way up and takes a run at the big guy. The big guy takes a drag on a cigarette and holds his fist out while the little punk runs into it. The process repeats with the little punk saying “You want some more huh?” each time until he can barely stand.
The OP is an intellectual inferior and should be treated as such. It appears he was booted out early from the Karl Marx school of trade and came here to take his aggressions out on whatever name was in the phone book. The OP once read a well-regarded book and it sounded incompressible to him so he thought that is the way that all writing should be.
