Now we’re gettin close to those 2000 inches!

We’re not worthy! We’re not worthy!
Cool site and construction, Sam! I’d love to have such a system someday.

Minor question–by ‘telepost’ do you mean those extendable steel jacking posts often used under main beams in basements? I’ve never heard the term before.
I’m not Sam, but yeah, that’s what teleposts are.
Yup. Those are teleposts.
I just uploaded another batch of construction pictures today, if anyone really cares…
This thing was supposed to be done a long time ago. I framed it out two years ago, then hung my projector on the ceiling joists and the screen on the framed wall to ‘test it out’. Of course, then I could actually watch movies, so construction stopped for a year and a half. Heh. Then I started in earnest last spring, planning to have it done by fall. Then there was going to be a Halloween movie party… After that was cancelled due to incomplete theater, my next plan was to have it done before Christmas. So now I’m busting my ass, because we gave my daughter some DVD’s for Christmas and she’s going to want to watch them. I figure on another 10 hours of work before the room is ready to watch anything, and another 100 hours of work before it’s completely finished and trimmed out.
After this is done, I’m not picking up a hammer or a paintbrush again for a long time…
