Ouch! I bet somebody lost their job over that mistake.

If anything ever called for it, this does.

I bet he was heading to Lombardi (o?) Street.

No vowel at the end - just Lombard.

Yes, it’s named after Carol Lombard, not Vince Lombardi.

Yes, I just made that up.

This is a total hijack.

My boyfriend lives in Warren, OH. Occasionally we will drive by Packhard Hall and the Packard Museum. Everytime we do, I think of you, Tuckerfan.

Biblically, I hope.

Packard pretty much built Warren (I had a great aunt who used to live there), and they built some great cars. It’s a shame Ike and Mitt Romney’s dad helped to kill them. :frowning:

No, way too long to negotiate the twisty part of Lombard.

A lot of vehicles get high-centered here, but usually they just chip off a bit of the road and the passengers’ teeth when the frame rails dig into the pavement. Most of the hilltops have grooves carved in them from countless scrapings. The buses also have a habit of digging into hill approaches as the front wheels start heading up and the rear bumper strikes the road, especially if the bus is overloaded with passengers and the suspension’s shot.
