Sanderista primaries out 10-term Dem Congressman

Care to take back your ridiculous criticism of Pressley? She’s a long time Democrat with a lot of experience in city politics. It’s entirely reasonable that she might want to move up to be a House Rep, and it turns out she’s a good campaigner who won a fair primary contest against another Democrat. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate this as a new and talented face on the Democratic side of the House?

She could have considered a run for governor. Yes, it would be difficult since Charlie Baker is popular and constrained by the solid Democratic state assembly.

Late next year, we can examine how effective she has been in congress.

Maybe the 66 year old ten term Congressman should have run for governor instead of expecting someone to jump up from Boston city council.

Or she could run for Congress, as she did. There’s nothing wrong with running for Congress. And she won, which proved she ran a better campaign than her opponent.

But I guess the answer is no, you’re not backing off your ridiculous and counterfactual criticisms of Pressley.
