Paul also knows he won’t win and is running to influence the platform with his threescore delegates.
Wow. I didn’t click that link earlier, but yes, that’s about halfway between Alfalfa and an angry Kenneth the Page.
Bite your tongue! He is the perfect candidate for Hillary to run against.
Why? Does she know all about Santorum?
Of course they’ll be depressed. They’ll be stuck in Tampa!
My gues is that anybody who fucks Bill often enough ends up knowing all about Santorum.
Why, WHY Santorum, did you have to endorse Arlen Specter all those many years ago???
If you hadn’t endorsed him, then he would have lost. And if he would have lost, he wouldn’t have switched to being a democrat. And if he hadn’t switched to being a democrat, he wouldn’t have voted for OBAMACARE. And if he hadn’t voted for OBAMACARE, it never would have gotten passed. And if OBAMACARE had never gotten passed, you wouldn’t have had to get such a hard hitting question about it by ol’ Mittens in Arizona right before the Michigan primary. And if you had never had to answer such a hard hitting question, you would have won the Michigan primary. And then, eventually go on to win the nomination. And then, go up against Obama, in what would become the biggest electoral landslide since the 1984 election. Instead we’ll have to settle for one of those confounded “modern day” landslides, like he won in 2008
I’m so sad.
With Mitt Romney as their chief entertainment!
After a taste of Santorum, who wouldn’t bite their tongue?
Yeah, that’s the one. Thanks for the correction.
Y’all are forgetting that if the VP nominee is sane, then it’ll automatically be his turn in 2016.
Well, we should have seen this coming, as it is indeed the essential function of Santorum to drop out.
“Bob” everlastingly bless and enSlack you, Dan Savage!
Sounds good to me-- oh, wait, he’s against all that stuff.
A group that combines the exuberance of Mr. Spock with the rationality of the Joker.
Did anyone catch Newt’s comments about Santorum’s leaving the race? He (Newt) said something along the lines of “Rick was very brave. As we crossed paths in Iowa, several times I saw him go into rallies with only five or six supporters.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Over Marco Rubio’s cuerpo muerto!
We heard it directly from Frothy today, that he was pleased that he had so much success in “spreading his message” (his words). So he did leave us with that.
I really had no point. Just wanted to post that link, used this as thin excuse. Sanatorium dragged this out long enough to show Mitt for the empty suit he really is.
I think he realized this was his last chance to be able to claim he was withdrawing voluntarily. If he had waited until after the next round of primaries on the 24th, he would have become irrelevant and nobody would have paid attention when he finally conceded.
And I’ve already gone on record, saying this won’t be the last we’ll see of Rick Santorum. He’s got a head start now for 2016. He achieved a double victory in this campaign. He made himself into a serious candidate and he knocked a hole in Romney’s campaign (Santorum has no interest in a Republican incumbent being in office in four years).
The stain that never quite washes out – the smell that lingers.
