Just notice in particular the photo there. That just struck my in-circuit brain pattern-matcher. I’ve seen that face before! That arms-wide-open stance! Even the set of the eyes and the mouth! This man is none other than . . . .

The “clarification” of Santorum’s statement is every bit as nonsensical as Romney’s clarification of the Etch-A-Sketch thing. Anyway if this takes any heat off Romney for the Etch-A-Sketch thing, Romney should send Santo a huge thank-you bouquet.

Santorum says, “I would never vote for Barack Obama over any Republican and to suggest otherwise is preposterous.”
That’s technically true. He didn’t say he would vote for Obama if Romney were nominated. He said the public should:
“If you’re going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk with what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate of the future.”
And people wonder why Gingrich isn’t dropping out.
I look forward to hearing this statement repeated over and over again before Obama coasts to victory this fall.
