Sarah Huckabee Sanders deserves her own Pitting

So here it is.

After being told by a restaurateur that she wasn’t welcome there, SHS tweeted the following:

Ms. Sanders, the policies of you and your boss have needlessly and gratuitously turned the lives of thousands of children and their parents into a living hell.

That’s pretty much the opposite of ‘doing your best to treat people respectfully.’

You are visiting abominations on defenseless people. You do not get to leave that behind at the end of the day and expect people to treat you as if you weren’t part of that. Better get used to eating at home.

For me the last straw came a looong time ago. She stands up there day after day lying and insulting those who call her on her bullshit.

Seems a weird thing in US culture though where even people who agree with all the above still admire her “grit”, or say she’s just doing her job.

I would not be able to sleep at night after one day of doing her job. She should be in a perpetual state of shame.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the one who said to Jim Acosta, “I know it’s hard for you to understand even short sentences,” just days ago? She treats people respectfully, including those she disagrees with?

She has no shame, and the only people lapping her bullshit up are those happily sucking Trump’s teat.

Dad came to her defense, redefining bigotry:

Yeppers, Mike, hate is a restaurateur refusing service to your daughter. Ripping small children from their parents - that’s just policy. No reason for anyone to get upset at those who are part of making it happen, amirite?

Anyone who has watched a WH press briefing knows this is a laughable lie.

I can call Manafort, Pruitt, Ryan, etc. “whores” without anyone batting an eyelash, but have been reprimanded at SDMB for using that term for the Suckabee twat. Is it OK to call her a “prick” or a “pimp”?

The latest N.Y. Times points out that Trump has more support among Republicans (90% !) for this point in his term than any President in the modern era except GWB (who was at the height of war euphoria 17 months into his term). Times interviewed his supporters to find out hw they could be so stupid and several dupes gave essentially the same answer:

… So blame me when the Red Wave hits in November.

This incident is disappointing, this is not the way to defeat the Trump mentality , it plays into their game and actually makes them stronger.

I don’t think we can win fighting that way, we can’t do what they do, we have to offer a better alternative.

It will be a red wave if this is the direction we are going.

So-called “Christian” Trump supporters have lost their souls. Sarah Goebbels Sanders sold hers.

Me too. None of this trying to compromise or reason with them. Every one I’ve known, you take one step towards them, they take 3 steps further into crazy town. They want you to “come together” so they can keep pulling further back. The lot of them won’t be happy until slavery is re-established, Christianity is mandated and apostasy is a death penalty offense, and women are making sandwiches and babies and nothing else. MAGA!

She’s not a policy maker, let alone a policy maker regarding immigration.

She complicit in legitimizing the policy and she agrees with it. What’s the fucking difference, pointless nitpicker?

This isn’t a matter of simple complicity. She is actively supporting racist policies, and insults the press because they have the gall to do the same job they have done for every president in history, which is to ask tough questions.

She’s the official conduit of misinformation and lies between the White House and American citizens. She’s 100% complicit.

(eta: I did NOT look at Running Coach’s post before using the word “complicit”.)

I don’t think we have to move towards them, it just seems to me that kicking her out is a move they would do.

I guess what I’m asking is why do we have to get dirty like them, we have plenty of real facts to use.

I understand that we are in the shit right now. I’m black and I’m worried where this could go.

I’m a blue collar worker, and I’m telling you that the majority of my co-workers voted for Trump, and still support him today. They take it as a personal insult that she was kicked out, seeing her as a white woman as their wives or girlfriends, and they sure as shit don’t care about the kids.

However, I’ve found they can be reasoned with when it comes to money. My industry is going to be hit hard in a bad way by the so called tax cuts, but most of them don’t know this.

I guess what I’m saying is we just can’t say Trump and his associates are bad, they already tried that and it didn’t work. Not good enough.

Kicking her out may look good for the moment, but for what I have seen it only steels their resolve, and no benefit to us.

I don’t know if anyone here is saying kicking her out of the restaurant was a good thing. Maybe they think so, did anyone actually post that? This thread is more about her collusion* with Trump in lying to the American people.

*Can’t say complicit after it’s been used twice here.

Yes, looking a second time you’re right. I tend to go on rants some times, but I’m in the wrong thread again.

That’s what she’s NOT; but what she IS needn’t be overlooked.

I wish the restaurant owner would release a list of crimes committed by people named Sarah to show how critical it is for them to keep people like SHS out.

Do you mean like every press secretary in history?

And you point is…?
You can’t see that she goes way beyond anything previous administrations have done?
Isn’t there a point where ethics kick in?

ETA: Sorry, I forgot you don’t understand ethics.
