Sarah Palin - Seriously?

Until the P-man returns:

Win!

I don’t know that that poll is as bad for the tea party movement as you seem to suggest. Even though the poll says that only 35% have a favorable impression of them, it also said that 25% doesn’t have any impression of them at all, 2/3rds only have just some or very little knowledge about what the tea party people believe, and that, of what the polled people know about what the tea party people believe, 45% of them agree with the tea party on the issues. You also have people saying that half of the money collected in taxes is wasted.

So, I really don’t know that the news is that bad for them.

And among the 45% of two-thirds, 50 to 75 believe that Bat Boy is Obama’s secret twin. Seperated at birth. In Kenya.

45% of the people agree that the UN is going to quarter a soldier in everyone’s house? I don’t believe that for a minute.

I think it’s more that 45% of the population agrees that the government is too big, and that we need to cut taxes, spending, and regulation, rather than particularly about UN troop housing plans.

Thanks, That is what I wanted to know. Obama is well educated, spent time in the senate. Sarah had the pro-life angle they were looking for among many women who had experience but were pro- choice.

The best part about the “Tea Party” will be watching them disappear during the next period of Republican control.

45% said they agreed with the baggers on some issues, not all of them, and 40% had an unfavorable view of the teabagger movement.

I don’t know the point of the comment on taxes since Obama has cut taxes on 95% of Americans and raised them on nobody.

Thank you for acknowledging this. I am curious. Did you actually think that Obama and Palin were equivalent, and really were “dumb and dumber?” Did you not know about Obama’s background and experience during the election?

At first I thought Perciful was another Carol Stream, but I’m now starting to think she’s not being intentionally inflammatory or provocative, but just has some what of a naive and superficial understanding of politics (I’m not talking about ideology, just about factual fluency with the issues and events). My feeling is that she probably doesn’t really pay that much attention to the news.

Her posts in the Abstinence thread (speaking just from her experiences as a parent) have actually been pretty thoughtful and substantive.

That very well may be, but she does have an annoying tendency to fail to answer questions asked of her after she makes some pretty inflammatory posts.

I must admit I knew very little about either of their backrounds. When Sarah Palin was announced as VP I did watch the debate. I knew she was the Senator of Alaska which surprised me. Most of my understanding of Obama came after he was elected. I didn’t vote for McCain because of Palin being on the ticket. I thought it would be dangerous that she might become the president if something happened to McCain. I did not like seeing Obama go back on his campaign promises. I didn’t know they were the pick of the people as being the best candidates.

So “The Dumb and Dumber”, quote was said without knowledge of his backround.

I work two jobs. I need to sleep a bit too. I don’t have internet access at work. I get back when I can and don’t mean to be rude.

It would probably surprise her too; she was Governor of Alaska.

I don’t know about that…she may very well believe that she is a senator of Alaska too.

Yeah, that would be a first around here…
