Sarah Palin's Intelligence Level

Even if we grant that distinction, it was irrelevant to the statement that I made. I wasn’t making any comment about Palin’s intelligence or lack thereof. Rather, I was pointing out that DtC’s conclusion is both unfair and unwarranted.

That’s right. Your response to my statement had nothing to do with my statement. I’m glad that you admit that.

My apologies then. I think you described their views too convincingly.

This next question has nothing whatsoever to do with any previous statement:

JThunder, would it disturb you more if she was actually stupid, or just acting stupid?

…back to Alaska.

It could go either way. Both scenarios are problematic, but in different ways.

Though I’m still mystified at the fact that you QUOTED one of my previous postings when you first posed this question. That normally suggests some type of relationship between the question and my statement – especially since the question was specifically directed to me, as opposed to anyone else. But heck, if you say that there was no relationship whatsoever…

And that is the thing that scares me most.
.

Isn’t it “North to Alaska?”

She’s smart enough to demand the best. A contract between her and a California University was just found that demands high class treatment on her stay there. Palin contract found in trash - Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share - Straight Dope Message Board

This sort of blindly partisan nonsense is not helping anything.

Knock it off.

[ /Moderating ]

Hey, if I ever got a chance to have a meal with a President, I’d damn well prepare a list of weighty topics and opinions on each as well-informed as time permits, all in an effort to sound as smart as possible. I can get chummy with my Star Trek buddies.

Personally, I’d like a chance to discuss energy policy, continental defense and security, cross-border trade… basically issues where American policies have the greatest effect on me as a Canadian.

And wouldn’t you want the discussion to contain, you know, actual content? Statistics, theories, well-thought-out opinions and stances?

Enough with the glorification and worship of “hyucksterism” in American politics, I say.

This gave me an idea for a new thread.Thanks.

Indeed, and the song also mentions, quite appropriately, right wing radio personalities.

North to Alaska,
North, the Rush is on

Considering that Sarah Palin currently holds NO public office of any kind, you people sure are spending a lot of time thinking about her.

MAYBE, just maybe, you should be more worried about the brainless gaffe machine who IS a heartbeat from the Presidency than about the brainless gaffe machine who lost.

Its not about how badly she communicates what she believes, its what she believes.

Again, Palin holds no office of any kind. Why are you on the Left still obsessed with her?

Even is she’s both stupid and dangerous (she’s not, but let’s go laong with your silly, paranoid fantasies), she CAN’T DO A THING to implement her scar agenda!

Stop worrying about an incompetent who can’t fo anything, and worry about the incompetent who can. You don’t think it’s sort of sad that Newsweek feels the need to do a cover story saying (in effect) “Joe Biden is not a moron. Really! Honest!”

It’s actually the right wing that’s obsessed with Sarah Palin and won’t shut up about her. The left is just heckling from the balcony.

Also, we’d like to gull the Republicans into nominating her in 2012.

Richard Nixon held no public office in 1966 either - clearly no one should have worried about him. Though Nixon was hexadecimal orders of magnitude smarter and more qualified than Palin is. He still is.

Care to give some evidence of Biden’s moronity? The gaffes we’ll give you. Palin didn’t really make gaffes in her interviews - she displayed her ignorance, which is different.
