Seems to me that somebody was talking about coming to Orlando to visit a certain Perfect Child[sup]TM[/sup]. I’m just sayin…

FCM I have no idea. This trip and the one I took to Seattle last May are aberrations on the part of the Grand Poobahs. Usually they like sending me to the midwest. I apparently look like somebody who needs to be in the midwest, specifically southern Indiana, southern Illinois and Iowa. I have never even had an assignment on the east coast, except for one in Jacksonville (when we met), Miami once and one of those Palm places in south Flahrda.
Oh hey whoa. There’s my name. I’m not organizing this one, but I’ll definitely show up. And I’ll be in the country on May 31st, so bear or Shibb can come pick me up.
So, who’s doing the planning?

I just got off the phone making travel arrangements with TPTB. I’ll be staying at a Holiday Inn in Sarasota. It’s on Lake Osprey Drive. I have no idea what that means but I will assume there’s more than one HI in Sarasota. As I said earlier, I’m open to either Sarasota or Tampa and a Saturday get together would be good too. Heck, I’m there, might as well make a weekend out of it. If we decide on Tampa, I’ll just need to grab a hotel room there. Maybe some kind Tampa doper can recommend a place close to a place where we could meet for a Dopefest.
So, we gonna do this? Sarasota or Tampa? What we gonna do? This is a golden opportunity to entertain me. I know y’all want to. 
Depends on what you want to do… I assume it should involve either food and/or frosty beverages?
For purely selfish reasons, I vote for Sarasota. (It’s only half as far for me that way.)
LadyFoxFyre, You would be very red if you knew that way in which I misread your last post.
And them’s just the appetizers! Meeting for an afternoon and/or evening revelry in a local establishment that provides both would be good for me. I’m up for most anything.
Hypno-Toad I’m worth a drive to Tampa but as I said either place is good for me. Egotistical? Moi?
I nominate LadyFoxFyre’s place for you to stay near Tampa. Her bed is awesome! But she hogs the covers. I don’t give a shit if they are hers!

If we meet in Sarasota then I’d prefer Friday, since I’m part of the way there already. I live in the absolute worst part of Tampa for getting to Sarasota. Or we could meet in Sarasota on Friday and then again in Tampa for Saturday. Where are you coming from, Mr. Toad?
I’m coming from Fort Myers. As a 9-5 kind of guy, I prefer weekends. Let’s see if I can force the rest of the attendees to my will.

As wondrous as I am, I do need to know where to be when. I can’t be in both Sarasota and Tampa. There’s just so much of da swampbear to spread around after all.
Really, I am amenable. I want to do this at a time and place for maximum doper meetage. Don’t make me appoint a fearless leader! Aguecheek already warned y’all about that.
