Even without researching this I’ll bet my Extended Edition FoTR and TTT that this is EGM’s yearly April Fools joke. They had moderate success fooling the geek set back in the 90’s with a ‘Shao Long is in Street Fighter’ prank, and they haven’t given up since. They’re like zombies after their first taste of human flesh - they keep shambling along, hoping to have just one more bite.
Hey, there’s an idea for a cart game! You & other human players, with specialty weapons & unique vehicles are pursued by undead motorists of many types.
It would be like that Mario Kart game where two players get to switch seats, except this one has three seats and players get to be the Trinity.
