Anyone here a big fan of Savage Garden? My friend wants any info she can get about how to get tickets or stuff. This might need to go in Cafe Society, but it’s here just in case.
Yeah, you can buy tickets for their “Mission Creek” concert in BFE on September 24, 2001 at this site.

Seriously, knowing where in this vast world your friend lives might seriously improve search results for the band’s ticket sales/promos. Or she could just call a local radio station.

Oh, and another BTW - I really don’t even like Savage Garden all that much.
I like them. The eye candy is great and the songs are even better.

To each their own, but my office mate in '97-98 was a major fan. I never liked them, certainly didn’t see the Roxette comparisons that were going around at the time and thought they were little more than an eye-candy boyband with a fairly decent engineer.
Take that and factor in that I was constantly exposed to them (and <shudder> Harvey Danger) and you may well understand the “nightmare” angle.
I didn’t hurt my head when I fell. Twisted my left ankle like you wouldn’t believe, though.
This is interesting. bobevilsquid, I don’t know if you’re aware of this or not, but your friend has now taken to emailing me and threatening to kick my (you know) because of my comments in this thread.
Given some of the criticisms I’ve thrown out in the past, I have to say I’m a little surprised anyone could be moved to thoughts of violence from THAT one.
Then again, she did state she had “an obsession”. Still, very uncool.
Well, isn’t this surprising? :rolleyes: I always knew her obsession would turn ugly.
