That’s “harpoon”. It’s intended to be a targeting device attached to whales. But since whaling is mostly illegal, especially with technologically-advanced tools, a simple mechanical locator beacon had to be disguised as the Zenith Men’s Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Titanium Chronograph Watch.

Honestly, for a watch like that, what’s the point of putting it on sale? You’re not paying for the watch, you’re paying for the price tag.
You could say that about any piece of jewellery. That’s what expensive watches are: mechanical jewellery.
Yes, if it were $87,000.00 it would be right out of my price range, but at $86,999.99 I feel I can really afford it.
Thorstein Veblen explained this perfectly-having a ridiculously expensive watch shows that you are rich, and therefore able to afford such a trinket.
But the watch is still ugly!
What the heck are they shipping the box in that it weighs 13 pounds and the product is 1 pound? Really 12 pounds of shipping material? Or am I missing something here?
