Saving to my computer some streaming video

Please kindly forgive me if this topic has already been addressed elsewhere. I’m a guest member and obviously cannot search your overwhelming database.

Now I am at a website and watching some streaming video that I find quite compelling.

How would it be possible for me to save that video as an .avi or a .mpg to my computer?

Anyone know?

Honestly, have you ever heard of Google? I only say this because it’s only a metter of time before one of the mods comes in here and locks this with the ol’ “we don’t discuss that here” song and dance.

Seriously, enter the title of your post into Google. You’ll get 50,000 hits.
