Sayonara, Syria -- the adventure continues, the countdown begins

Inspired by SamClem’s bold predictive thread about Iraq.

I predict Syria is next on America’s Hit Parade. America has the largest military force in the world in the world right next door to it. Troops and ammunition are still flowing IN, not out. The rhetoric has already started about the Syria-WMD-AlQueda evil pact.

My prediction: invasion by the end of July.

All that mediterranean beach would be great for the troops for R&R afterward. We could corner the market on Damascus steel, too.

I hope you’re wrong.

I won’t say you’re wrong, but I sure hope you are.

We’re planning to take down these governments and install puppet regimes in the following order:

  1. Syria
  2. Iran
  3. North Korea
  4. Cuba
  5. France
  6. Yemen
  7. Libya
  8. Egypt
  9. Saudi Arabia
  10. Luxembourg
  11. San Marino
  12. Chad
  13. Andorra
  14. Liechtenstein
  15. Tunisia
  16. Botswana
  17. Bolivia
  18. Central African Republic
  19. Lebanon, and
  20. Grenada again

All this buttkicking will send a message to the rest of the world. Any country that doesn’t bow down and agree to eternal American hegemony after that will be wiped off the face of the earth.

If the economy ever improves, we might stop after Saudi Arabia.

I know it’s irony and all but what are Luxembourg and Bolivia doing on the list?

I read that Bush vetoed the idea of invading Syria. Oh well, maybe he’ll change his mind.

Reminds me of the game of Risk. Cool game.

Aye, that was. It’s too bad there weren’t enough territories on it, 42 just isn’t enough.

Well, I for one am indignant that Guam, Tonga, and Pitcairn’s Island didn’t make the list. They’ve been nothing but trouble all along.

You forgot Venuzalua; they are politacally unstable and have lots of oil; Zimbabwei is being run by a thug that needs to be gotten rid of, and most importantly Cananda; they have oil that we could use, we could shut up their annoying pet French people, and it would be a preemptive strike, considering they are massing 90% of their population within 100 miles of the border, which seems really suspicous to me. Down with the Flapping-Head Menace!!

Freedom Bacon topping pizzas for all!

I see we all have our “favorite” targets!

Well, W. needs to keep the war going until the 2004 elections, after all.

Remember that Daddy lost his reelection after his war ended, and the voters had time to think about things like how messed up the economy was.

You’ll have to help me out here. None of my atlases mention the sovereign nations of:

Venuzalua
Zimbabwei
Cananda

Did the UN expand when i wasn’t looking?
