SBIR 2012 Christmas Card

Maybe I’m just hypersensitive, but this year’s Christmas card from SBIR (Santa Barbara Infrared) and IFC cameras seems particularly tasteless:

[spoiler] In a time when a lot of people are upset with our policy of drone strikes and the collateral civilian casualties, is it really funny to depict Americans running from a flock of drones? Even if they’re labeled with the names of the reindeer, and “Rudolph” has a Red Nose?

I appreciate military contractor humor, even when it has a dark side, but this one seems to be straying too far over the line. It looks like a political cartoon from an anti-drone group. [/spoiler]

I’m sure the employees like to let off a little steam. Working in the field of GMOs myself, I would love to take the “adversaries’” complaints to the extreme to mock them and get a good chuckle from my own colleagues.
