I believe this is written in Danish and may have something to do with a boat. Could someone translate it for me please?

I’m not sure exactly what kind of boat a “jolle” is in Danish. In Norwegian it would be either a small sailboat (as in can be sailed by one or a few people) or a small “companion” boat for a bigger boat (ie. lifeboat kind of thing). In this context, I’d guess it’s a sailboat.
hildea is absolutely right, “jolle” in this context means a small sailboat - I think (but I know damn little of sailing) that the English word “dinghy” is used to describe this sort of vessel.
I found some pictures if you want to know what they look like. The site is in Norwegian, but I don’t think you will have any problems finding the next (neste) picture in the series.
