What the heck does the syllabus for a three week course to make a gay or bi guy straight* contain, anyway?

In other threads there have been several keyboard ruiningly funny comments about how you’d tell if the course had worked, but none that I can recall about what the course was.

I thought about putting this in GQ, because I am genuinely interested in the answer but let’s face it, that would have (hopefully) dissolved into smart alec comments by about the fourth posting anyway, so I put it in here.

Feel free to answer either factually or speculatively.

Did he attend one of those “reparative therapy” programs like Love in Action?
If so, it should have taken a lot longer than that, assuming that such things actually work. It would have involved lots of group therapy, having to confess one’s fantasies to the counselors (none of whom is licensed), not being left alone much, having to adhere to some very strict rules, and much much more.
