Scariest thrill ride

Ok, so I just got back from a nice long vacation in Las Vegas, where I rode a ride called the Space Shot. It sits atop the Stratosphere Tower, the tallest building west of the Mississippi. You are more than 1,000 feet off the ground before you even get on the ride. Anyone else been on this thing? All I can say is “HOLY SHIT!!!”. I’m a person who LOVES rollercoasters and other thrill rides. So far, my favorite rollercoaster is the Desperado, at the Buffalo Bills hotel/casino. The Space Shot, although not really a coaster, scared the HELL out of me. It was so good that we rode it twice in a row.

So, for all of the other thrill ride enthusiasts out there, what’s the scariest ride you’ve been on, and why?

Yeah. I just saw it on the Discovery channel last night.

It’s called the ‘SkyScapper’ in Tongo, Tonga(?), River Golf resort in Florida.

As one guy said, it’s a ferris wheel on steroids.

One long arm with seating for two on each end. 70 mpg and 4g’s. Didn’t look like ‘fun’ to me.

I love the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz. It’s old and clunky and creaky and you get thrown around a lot and can almost touch all the beams,
