I miss the gang, too. Sadly, I didn’t really discover the true essence of Bloom County until it had degenerated into Outland. But I have several of the old collections (next to the Calvins and Foxtrot). A few weeks ago I was reading one of them at bedtime and it finally dawned on me how Senator Bedfellow got his name. D’oh!
Anyway, I am writing this on my 2-year-old IBM Pentium 233, the second computer I ever bought for my home business. Suddenly I had to distinguish between two computers – the new one and my old 486. So this one is HAL and the old one is the Banana Jr. 6000.
Well, now the nostalgia is setting in anew . . . sniffle
I’m not a Bloom County historian, but what I’ve seen so far of Scarlett’s posts has led me to believe that she is indeed a very funny lady. This is a good thing. I like funny.
