Well dopers here is my un-happy tale, I used to be a happy go lucky student in the wonderland that is Sunderland (uk) that is until i moved into my new student house with 3 friends and a girl i knew reasonably well…

Well like the soppy headed fool i am i fall for girl i know reasonably well, cunningly, at the same time my scary built like a small developing nation beast of a house mate ( one of my original friends) A. Decides she like me B. Decides she wants to try jump me at any given moment. C. looses the ability to know when a cause is lost.
To make things easier to expalin girl 1 i am crazy about.
Girl 2 i fear like satan himself.
As a house we go out a fair bit together 3 weeks ago there was a theme night at our local student club woooo Me and my friends arange to meet girl 1 in the club, we meet girl 1 i start dancing with her, nice kinda leading up to a kiss dancing… just as i moove in for the smooch a hand with the power of steel grabs me round the neck and drags me away arms outsretched towards the lovely girl 1. I turn to see my abuser and there she is the towering form of girl 2 at first i think there is a power cut then i realise the light that she doesnt block out is being forced to orbit her, pulled in by forces unkown. For the next 4hours this goes on me making it completely clear that i wouldnt go near girl 2 with a shitty stick but her still not lettin me near girl 1.
Now i am not a heartless guy i was and still am friends with girl 2 but she is making it very hard to spend time with her as she keeps trying to violate me.
In the intervening weeks girl 2 has been trying to put girl 1off me by saying i’m nasty to women (which i’m not at all) and that i only go for norwegian women ( i admit a liking for my ex who was from that scandanavian country, but it hardly constitiutes a fetish) as a result girl 1 has been distant and not her usual flirty self…
I know it would be hard for girl 2 if i got with girl 1 but ive tried sittin her down and explaining but its like explaining economic policy to george bush.
well this is my stalemate, hopufully tonight as girl 2 is away and me and girl 1 have managed to arrange to go out things may change but i’m not optimistic.

You’ve upset someone who was a friend. Yes she should take the hint, but emotions don’t always allow you to behave rationally do they? You’re probably being less sensitive than you might otherwise be, because you’re annoyed she’s spoiling you’re chance with the other girl.
You’ve put the girl you’re keen on in an awkward position. Even if she’s equally keen on you, she’s still got to carry on living with girl 1, so is unlikely to want to deliberately upset her. If her feelings are more ambiguous, she’s still in an awkward position, because she’s still got to live with you.
The other housemates face either the sickening prospect of “a couple” in their midst or the uncomfortable prospect of two or more people not getting on.
Hah. A male fantasy that few can deliver. Not on a regular basis anyway. Not to suggest that any bloke in this thread couldn’t of course.
There’s always the danger that they both say sod him, and start ganging up. Or I expect if he’s lucky the standard porno scenario might happen, where they get off with each other.

Thanx for the help, really i am trying to be nice to the scary hose mate and explain things but she just wont take no for an answer, 3 somes wouldnt really help the situation and
as i only fancy one of them its a bit of a bugger :0
I had always thought that students residing in the UK could read, write and speak a recognizable form of English. Maybe the OP took Gibberish as a second language and is attempting to stay current. I suspect “girl 1” can’t understand his protestations of adulation and that “girl 2” wants to tutor him in language skills.
