That’s fair. But Googling, the expectation is the final season will be available on Netflix in just a couple of months (on or about October 8). So I’m willing to wait. There’s enough other stuff to watch in the interim.
Understood. One way my wife and I have adjusted during the COVID is we are more willing to pay for some entertainment we previously resisted. So, in a show like this, a season costs less than 2 of us to go to a movie - which we haven’t done for months. Not to mention live music.
We used to be happy to wait until we could get video free through our library. And tho there is lots on TV, when we find something we REALLY like, we’ll spend a couple bucks to watch it all. Oh the sacrifices we make!
Or you could be like us - we have subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime + BritBox, and what do we end up watching? Old episodes of “Murder She Wrote”.
For anyone else who was waiting for the sixth season to be available on Netflix, it is now.
I watched the first episode last night. I laughed out loud quite a few times. I love this show - I wish it was an hour-long, not just a 1/2 hour.
I’ll be sad when it comes to an end.
I had the exact same thoughts when my wife and I watched the first show of season 6 over the weekend: Wish it were an hour and sad this is the last season. Schitt’s Creek has been an uplifting thing in this dreadful 2020 life.
Same here.
That’s great. I watched it while it was on, then a few months back I rewatched season 1-5. I can watch 6 again now.
By the way, if you’re not a Netflix subscriber but want to watch the show, it’s available on the free CW Seed streaming service, and also Comedy Central is airing episodes.
I just discovered this (thanks to Netflix’s new “surprise me” feature, or whatever they call it) and am enjoying it. I am a little stunned that it swept the comedy categories at the last Emmys. It’s funny, but it’s not, say, What We Do in the Shadows funny. But maybe it gets better as it goes along. (I am in the front half of season two.)
