Science Fair Project

My daughter is in 4th grade and her school is holding their annual science fair project soon. My daughter has won in her 1st and 2nd grade years. While in 3rd grade, she got a consolation award. I am running out of ideas that are simple and easy for her to complete. Any suggestions?

Build an incubator, light bulb for heat, thermostat, etc. ’
Need FERTILE eggs from farm not egg factory.
Posters, articles, photos of progress, etc.

Check out science fair link at <stirlingengine.com> may be too advanced for now but should provide some display pointers. May be a good project in future.

It’s easy enough to build, interactive, and demonstrates a fundamental concept that’s not all that hard to grasp. Yet it’s “modern” physics and will therefore set the elementry school science department agog with admiration.

Or maybe it would be pulling out an ace too soon… you could save that one for fifth grade.

Here’s a page with five good physics experiements that will set your child on the path to enlightenment.
