Anyone know a good place online to read scientific news? http://www.sciencedaily.com has a good site as it is from a more technical point of view and not glossed for the layman. My only problem is that it is only updated once a day, so after the morning I’m at a loss for anything good to read.
Here’s an idea: http://www.findarticles.com/cf_0/PI/subject.jhtml?topic=ref search through old articles in these periodicals and read them for free. Scientific American ( http://www.sciamarchive.com/html/ppv_frames.asp ) has this feature, but you have to pay.
I like http://www.physicstoday.com and http://www.newscientist.com
Since The Sciences ceased publication (an outrage!) the NYAS claims they’ll publish online, but there’s nothing at http://www.nyas.org yet.
This is more of an IMHO than a General Question.
