Scientific Remote Viewing

Does anybody out there know anything, have any thoughts or comments and/or opinions on “scientific remote viewing”?

i have heard about it to some extent while listening to art bell.

rather than asking me what i know you might want to check out the archive at www.artbell.com

It’s an oxymoron.

Uhh, could somebody give me the gist of it? Does it not just mean taking pictures of earth from satellites? You know, radar, infra-red, visible light, etc…?

Any similarity in the above text to an English word or phrase is purely coincidental.

Nope, Boris. Picture the CIA hiring specialists in astral projection; the subject of a paperback or two by the friendly folks who brought you Mayan spacecraft and Bermuda Triangle vortex time travel.

how so?

Hello all…

Late and too tired to write much. Remote viewing is a very real, very practical, and very technical science. Boris is reading about a nine on the right-O-matic machine. The term has been usurped by the Art Bell croud for some silly things though. The commercial sats up there are pretty amazing. Apple growers to zooligists use images all the time. We get a journal at work… if I have time Monday I’ll write a bit more. I don’t specialize in it myself, mind you, but minored in envi. sci. so have a bit of info. Any specific questons?

if you look at it right…

Hmmm. RD, I’ll guess here, and say you are right in that there is an actual discipline involving the interpretation of satellite imagery to show anything from coral reef degradation, forest cover, urban heat diffusion, etc… I know it by the acronym GIS.

However the term “remote viewing” seems to antedate the civilian use of satellite imagery, and is allegedly, or apparently, referred to in some gov’t documents around the surrealist period of the Cold War [think “MK Ultra”]. Bell’s minions, their ratings on the “Right-o-meter” notwithstanding, don’t seem to have usurped the phrase…

Well, anything that has the discordant overtones. . .or subharmonics. . .of Art Bell doesn’t ring very true with me.

From satellites? About as far as I view with my remote is ten feet from my TV set. Ain’t very scientific though.

Ray (God is watching us. . .from a distance. . .or so I’ve heard – though I understand He often sort of hacks through that scientific stuff.)

Pathfinder, do you read??? Come in Pathfinder…

Thank you all for the enlightenment! Jorge, your sense of humor was uplifting. Having this question answered, I can now spend my free time fretting over whether today I will “spontaneously combust”.
