Wow! News to me. Although I suspect it will end in an acquittal, looks like the trial just might give us an interesting look behind the curtains at the White House. How much of this stuff is just tactical by Libby’s lawyers? If they’re going to be calling the Vice President as a defense witness, how confident can they be that he’ll back up their theory of the case? Rove might almost wish he had been indicted by the time this is over…

Chris Matthews said that Cheney is beginning to sound like “an unindicted co-conspirator.” For those who don’t remember Watergate, that is exactly the label that was given to Nixon.
