I was reading Bruce Campbell’s book If chins could kill, and at one point, it talks about the making of The Evil Dead. One of the things I noticed was that most of the main actors and actressers got in trouble with the Screen Actors Guild afterwards for being in that movie, despite being credited under a different name. Something it about the movie being “non-union” shoot.
Could someone explain to me exactly why it upset the SAG for them to be doing a shoestring movie so much?
Hides in case he is beaten by some fiercly pro-union people
