I totally agree with the OP. Just after installing Google earth I delete the updater program so it won’t run. Fuck that.
And I wish they would test their programs just a bit more because I have never had GE work completely as intended. In one version something won’t work on my computer. In the next version that is corrected but something else is screwed up. Rather than come out with a new version evry other week I wish they would wait a bit and test more.
I have heard quite a few people complain the path or poligon tools crashes the program which used to happen to me. Now the ruler tool will not remember the units. The program needs some serious going over.
With quite a few programs I have opted to keep older versions which work fine for me and are not so bulky and have no crapware. I always make a point of keeping the original files so I can reinstall them.
