Screw Greg Abbott {Texas Governor}

Republicans are loud and proud of wanting to starve Mexican babies. As Joe Biden would say: “And that’s not hyperbole.”
Evil, bloodthirsty monsters, not hyperbole either. Fuck.

What happened to “every life is sacred”?
n/m Stupid question.
They’re brown and born.

For those who remember …

TX ordered their Department for Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to automatically initiate investigations in cases where a transgender minor was receiving certain kinds of medical treatment.

The TX Supreme Court just nixed that. It didn’t say that DFPS cannot launch such investigations; rather, it said that Governor Fuckface cannot mandate that they do.

“If you’re pre-born, you’re okay. If you’re pre-school, you’re fucked!”
– George Carlin

It is worse, besides the usual discrimination you point at, Republicans are showing that they also do not care about Ukrainian refugees (and their babies).

Their crime is opposing the GOP Chairman.

“All lives matter”, amiright?

I believe you spelled ‘white’ wrong.

Those aren’t proper white people, so they’re not human and don’t count as lives

ETA: come to think of it, I’ve seen extremist nutjobs actually make that argument seriously about liberals. Damn you, Poe’s law!

This is so inconsistent of them (as usual). Isn’t this the same crowd that largely overlaps with the Q belief that we would be fattening babies up for human consumption?

As frequently noted on this Board and elsewhere: They’re not even trying to hide it anymore.

Back to Texas’s famously reliable power grid …

You can’t seriously expect the state’s governor to actually bother governing now. He’s far too busy protecting the federal border against…well, against no threat whatsoever.

To quote Napoleon the pig.

All lives matter but some matter more than others.

I consider Dan Patrick a wart on Greg Abbott’s butt, so this qualifies for this thread.

It makes more sense to order bulletproof shields for children and teachers. Police don’t seem to want to get anywhere near a shooter. The kids don’t have any choice.

Follow the money. Does Patrick own interest in a company that makes shields?

Ah, Grasshopper… wisdom, you have much of. :cricket:

I shall research this.

A recent Quinnipiac poll shows Abbot up by only five points on Beto, 48%-43%. A previous poll had him up 52%-37%. I’m sure this is just a blip after Uvalde and Abbott will extend his lead as memories fade, but maybe. . . .

Nope, not gonna do that to myself.

Yep, I’m with you. Any time I start getting a little excited about Beto’s odds (and thinking to myself “wait, certainly Individual One’s odds were even longer before he won the presidency”) I stroll on over to PredictIt and see that he is still (according to that market) a 9 : 1 underdog. YMMV.

If the grid fails repeatedly this summer, that will make an impression. It will also kill people, so i am not hoping for it.
