The folks at NaNoWriMo have branched off as some of you probably know, and June is now national write a movie script month. Visit Script Frenzy for details. (pssst! You can write with another person this time!)

So, who else is going to try their pen at producing a 20,000 word movie script in a month? With the exception of one terrible terrible play I was forced to write in 8th grade, I’ve never written anything in script format, nor do I really know how to. I’m up for the new challenge though, and there’s supposed to be lessons on script formatting coming this month.

I’m thinking of a post-apocalyptic Cheaper-By-The-Dozen sort of black comedy myself. You?

I’m in, even though I have a million other things going on in June. I’ve done NaNoWriMo for six years; I can’t not do this. I’ve never attempted to write a script except for things like skits in high school Spanish class, but I’m at least going to try.
