A year ago, I posted a thread about the TV show Scrubs, and their music, in appreciation for how they put their episodes together and include totally great and appropriate music selections. Well, this past Tuesday’s was another one of those endings where somebody dies at the end. But it was done in a rather interesting way…
…specifically, it’s Jordan’s brother and Perry Cox’s best friend, played by guest star Brendan Frasier. But they mislead us and make us think that it’s another of J.D.'s patients – except that Cox is taking this one hard, not sleeping, and staying at the hospital non-stop. And Brendan Frasier is still showing up having dialog with Cox (but only Cox) – which we realize later is just Cox’s own imagination
So, the final scene is over another great musical selection. I tried googling on the lyrics but didn’t find anything. Can anybody help ID this song? Soft guitar accompaniment, and the portion of the lyrics that were clear in the scene are…
I remember the sound
Of your November downtown
I remember the truth
A warm December with you
But I don’t have to make this mistake
And I don’t have to stay this way
If only I would wake.
Another great episode. Anybody else see it? What did you think? And if anybody can ID this song, I’d appreciate it!
