Scum mafia: On Cecil pond [Game Over]

A few secrets to be revealed:

The Scum had no power roles
Red Skeezix, the endangered species, really was harmless (a win-sharer, not a win-stealer)
sachertorte’s role would have enabled him to survive a lynch, but he would be rendered inactive for two Winters and one Summer following (can’t post or vote, but also can’t be targeted in any way in that time)
Storyteller neglected to mention that while the roles of his victims would be kept secret from Town, he himself would learn them

The spoiler board is at http://donchronos.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=scumspoilers and the Scum board is http://donchronos.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=greenslime . I’ll see if I can figure out how to de-password them now.

Dammit, we lost? Oh well. Good game, everyone. Nicely played, scum.

So, who’s starting the next game? (What, I’m addicted!)

amrussell, thank you for not bussing me like I told you to last night.

Well done, fellow scum! I felt that we played an excellent game.

Chronos, can you give us a link to the spoiler board?

Congratulations Scum! I should have switched votes more often (I was seriously considering at Maha/Kelly lynch and at Diggits. Today I was considering to sachertorte so that wouldn’t have helped :(.

Actually, a switch to sachertorte would have delayed the loss by one more Summer, at least.

And I think the spoiler and scum boards should be open now-- Let me know if they’re not.

Well done scummies.

Ah, as I figured it would turn out.

Good game, scum.

:frowning:

Oh right, this is where Im supposed to fake feeling bummed about losing.

Yeah, by the time you’d picked up your first vote (c.6 hours from deadline) I thought it might be worth a caution/wind interface moment.

Good game team!

PS - I didn’t know about Daylight Saving either, so if we had been trying a clever last minute switch, I would have mucked that up royally.

And knowing this pisses me off even more.

From the spoiler board:

That was a big reason why I wanted you dead. I knew that you were coming for me and I doubted that I’d survive the encounter. You saw why that vote for Kelly was scummy but didn’t have the time to articulate why, and I wasn’t about to give you that opportunity.

Incidentally, the Town’s big mistake there was not that they didn’t lynch me. The Town’s big mistake was that nobody bothered to review my history in this game. Doing so would have turned up a wealth of scummy behaviour. I actually documented a bunch on the scum board for amrussell to use against me if necessary.

Rysto, I could have told you that everyone skims. Why they admit it, when it comes just to my posts, I don’t know.

Yeah, I was sitting there for the entire last day screaming RYSTO RYSTO RYSTO!!! I felt like Cassandra there for a while. And when you referred to story’s “lynch power” early toDay, I was hoping that someone, anyone, would pick up on it. I’ve only seen two players make a reference to a NK as a lynch, and both were Scum (one was lynched because of it, forget what game). But nobody caught it. Frustrating as hell.

I’m pretty sure that was just an innocent typo, to be honest.

Well done, scum. We were probably miles away from uncovering either amrussell or oredigger. At least rysto was under suspicion for a while.

By the way, if I had to go back, I’d vote for Mahaloth over Kelly Summer Three. Not because I picked up suspicion for the vote, mind you, but because we had a mislynch in the bag and I forced Alka to give himself away to save it. I didn’t think it through properly.

Good game scum.

Thanks for a fun twist after my biogeek heart, Chronos. Thanks for enabling my addiction, fellow players.

Dying early sucks. :frowning:

It’s not a typo. A typo is saying teh instead of the. Calling a NK a lynch is a slip.

Ed, I would LOVE to know what MAFIA is, if it is not an “indvidual game”.
**
Tell me what else I could have done, to help other players unvote Diggit.

You can’t make anyone else do anything else, and Town lost because of it.

Tell me how Mafia is not an Indvidual game.

Easy: You win if your team wins, and you lose if your team loses. If that’s an individual game, then what game isn’t individual?
