OK, anyone who knows how to use Proboards, how do I approve members? I can’t see anything under “admin”, nor under “advanced moderation”.
It’s a context-sensitive option.
It’s an option under “Manage Members” in the admin area. However, if there are no accounts awaiting approval, the option doesn’t appear.

Although the set up does allow for the embarrasing possibility of the Pond being beaten solely as a result of random action by non-human agents, which wouldn’t exactly lead to bragging rights.
I like the pondy flavour. Think I’ll give this one a miss though, mafia can be a lot of fun but I’m not sure it’s worth the time commitment and frustration for me.
I’d love to try my hand at Mafia but not yet. Instead I’ve downloaded the messages from the recent “Colorless” game and hope for time and energy to study that before inflicting myself on others. :dubious: Any tips for studying the recent Colorless game? Should I assume that comments and strategies were unusually brilliant?

septimus, I think the Colorless Mafia is a great game to study if you want to get the basics. You know all the roles starting out, so you can view all the claims in light of that. You can also see how important it is to do the math and figure out how your actions might affect the overall game as a whole.
i think i can safely say that at least one participant did not exhibit this behavior.
amd really the best way to approach this endeavor is just to jump on in. while reading past games can be enlightening there really is no substitute for just getting after it in a real game.
