There are two kinds of people in the computer world. And each one of them has there own way of saying “scsi”. I pronounce it “scizy”. “Scuzy” just sounds fu**ed up. Am I wrong? Are you Wrong?
I don’t recall ever hearing anybody call SCSI anthing but “scuzzy.”
Go with “skanky” and be done with it.
I’ve always thought SCSI would be more properly pronounced “sexy”, since there’s no Z in it. But, I go with the flow. Scuzzy it is.
Scuzzy! People who pronounce it “Skizzy” are as dumb as the people who write “damnit” instead of “dammit”
The “SCSI was supposed to be pronounced ‘sexy’” post was correct. “Skuzzy” is the common pronunciation.
What’s worse are the non-users who continue to pronounce Linux “LIE-nux.” Creator Linus Torvalds hails from Norway and pronounces it “LEE-nix” which best makes out to “LIN-ix” in American English.
