I’m actually probably taking the worst of it slightly in both trades in pure value, but it benefits my team composition. I needed TE and landed what might be top 3 for the rest of the year… hopefully. I like Miami’s schedule for the rest of the year more than Tennessee’s although they’ve scored me a lot of points so far. I’m high on Mike Thomas being the #1 in Jax. Burleson to Earl Bennett is a pretty significant downgrade, but Mike Thomas will be taking that spot anyway. It looks like Portis may be out for the rest of the year, so Torain was a lot to give up, but I’ve got Charles and Best as solid RB starters and I can figure out who to start in the flex between Johnathan Stewart/James Jones/Scheffler.
What the fuck is it with teams putting up their shittiest week ever against Court Jesters, yet because he’s only fielding half a team, they manage to get their win anyway? Seriously is this the third or fourth time that happened? Teams will have the 19th worst score and be so lucky to happen to be playing the 20th scoring team that week. No Use For A Name is the beneficiary this week.
Varlos is 10 points behind with Camarillo, Boss, and Cowboys D to play vs Timbers’ Kuhn and Crosby. Varlos didn’t start a kicker this week - what’s up with that? Are you still not set up with your computer?
Frosted Lightning can win if Shiancoe can outscore Witten by 12 points.

Well, i’m probably going to lose again this week, unless Aaron Rodgers and Steve Smith both break their legs. But i’m not too unhappy with my week.
I finally managed to pick the right defense, and the Redskins helped me out by making some huge plays against the crappy Bears offense, including 4 INTs against Cutler, 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and a TD. 29 points!
Most surprising was my QB. Schaub and Houston had the Bye this week, and so i managed to grab Jason Campbell in the hope of at least avoiding a zero in the QB column. But not only did Oakland stomp all over the Broncos (i love seeing Denver get beaten, although it’s not as rewarding now that Shanahan has gone), Campbell managed a respectable 200 yards with 2 TDs and no INTs or fumbles.
The rest of the lineup was pretty bad, and i suffered from a lack of WR with Floyd out for San Diego, but Joe Nedney grabbed a few points with his kicking. Cedric Benson managed 70 yards, but couldn’t get into the endzone even though the Bengals scored 32 points. Fuck! My RB situation is dire.
Anyway, that’s how it goes.
