Fuck. I need to fade 7.5 points from Vernon Davis tonight to win my Battle of the Titans with Beef (a mark he’s failed to reach only 3 times out of 10 this season). The Cardinals are 22nd in fantasy points allowed to TEs.
Since I also need Arizona’s DEF to outscore SF’s by 4 points to win an important game in the He Hate Me League, I’m actually going to change my selection in the spread pick’em league (where I’m currently in 1st place by one game) from San Fran to Arizona, just because the game will be more fun to watch with an unadulterated rooting interest. Any scoundrel who uses that info to their advantage by changing their pick in that league is a so-and-so, and your mother would be ashamed of you.
Ugh, why did I bother changing that pick? Arizona is fucking HORRIBLE. San Francisco is merely bad. Still holding on in this game, at least. Barely. One catch for 18 yards would sink me, if my arithmetic is correct.

Garcon’s Cedilla (MrSquishy’s Friend) and Exploding Pancakes (SenorBeef) have won their divisions and clinched playoff spots.
Up by Three (Taber) and Hamlets Out of Ideas are tied for the Semi-Newbies division lead. One will take the division title and one is guaranteed a wild card berth. Varlos’ Zzzzzzz is a division leader, but has a very slim chance of dropping to #2 with a loss. He’s guaranteed a wild card slot though.
The remaining three wild card spots are occupied (right now) by a trio of 7-5 teams: Evil Monkey (MTRG), CMFD (Charles) and The Gusterrhoids (me). If I win and Varlos loses and I score 75 more points than he does, I take the Giants division.

Tolbert -> BenJarvus is probably a slight downgrade. Kolb -> Fitzpatrick + Stanton was obviously necessary. Morris, Choice, and Snelling -> Ivory is still too soon to tell. Ivory helped a lot last week, but if a starter and him go down I’ll wish I still had a bevy of backs. Ted Ginn was hurt a long time and still only contributes marginally. Obomanu seems like a great pickup. Spurlock and Gettis aren’t very consistant, but sometimes put up numbers. I don’t miss Heyward-Bey or stroughter.
