FYI, WL emailed me back and decided to take a pass. He’s already spread pretty thin, and since we’re not really desperate for a replacement he decided it’s probably for the best that he sit it out. Probably the wise call.

I hope we can get through at least the early rounds with a little bit of ease. A 10 PM (for me) start time has disastrous potential if we’re still in round four at eleven. I don’t want to have to go on autodraft halfway through for obvious reasons, but there’s just no way I’m staying up until 2:30 just so I can take Billy Koch with the last pick in the draft.
Also, I really hate myself for being the one to say that.
Also also, who’s doing the post-draft review thread? Not it.
Well, I’d love to do that thread but I won’t be around this weekend to do it.
As an aside…I have absolutely no idea who I’m going to pick this year…damn busy work days.
Sorry if I screwed you guys up. I just wanted to be fair to the league, and didn’t feel I was going to be able to, time wise. I have no idea what the responses to my post over there were, because I can’t see them, not being in the league anymore and all!
There weren’t really any responses. (And by weren’t really, I mean, there weren’t any.) You didn’t screw us up at all; it’s certainly better to have an odd number of teams than it is to have a roster full of dead wood sitting there all season.
With a new young’un to help care for, I think we all understand why you don’t have the time. Real life is more important than fantasy baseball, anyway.
