Everyone pretty much had a bad week, so I’m looking at making up a ton of ground in the points race. It looks like I’ll end up overtaking Peteys by less than a point. Mark Andrews had his second awesome game in a row, but otherwise it was just a steady, good week without anyone doing anything noteworthy beyond their projection. Tyreek exploded last week, but aside from that, I haven’t had any real outlier performances in the first 3 weeks. I’ve had some good teams in this league, but I’ve never had a consistent team like this, so it’s a different experience so far on Sundays.
I know I’ll be at a disadvantage at QB against just about everyone in the league for a few months yet, so I can’t really say much about the two I’m using. But I really hope my RBs start to make some noise. They haven’t done much so far, so there’s a lot of ceiling left that I will hopefully get to see yet.
I’m certainly lucky to have started 3-0 despite a middling score. I don’t think it was revealed until the season that Dobbins didn’t only tear his knee but like 3 or 4 different ligaments as well as something in his hamstring. He might be useful down the stretch but he’s not coming out of the gates firing like I hoped. Baltimore gave a TD to pretty much everyone on the team except my 2 guys this week.
Rhamondre Stevenson putting up an 18 game is going to end up costing me like 75 lost points where I’ll be tempted to start him sometimes and the NE running game will give points to some random person they picked out of the stands to be the RB that day. Then I’ll bench him again, and he’ll put up 20 points, tempting me to start him where he’ll put up 3. That’s the NE RB experience.
But I might have to if Montgomery is significantly banged up.
Pitts has started off in a really disappointing season. I’m not watching Atlanta but I don’t know if it’s by design, Mariota, Pitts not being that good, Drake being really good, or some combination thereof.
Tyler Lockett is still fairly useful even under Geno Smith, so that’s something.
Concerned that Samuel didn’t score any points after putting up a bunch before his injury. He was back in the game, but didn’t manage to do anything. I can deal with a Monty injury, but not sure I can handle a Deebo one.
You can set a clock by Chubb. Just consistent greatness.
Allen Robinson may suck. Josh Allen may be the most beautiful of God’s creatures.
Crazy week for me, first time I’ve had a free moment at the computer since Sunday.

Well, shit. I never realized I was doing well this past week because I was always so far behind Jules, my opponent. Apparently I scored the second highest points of the week, behind only the guy I faced. Doh!
That was a tough luck loss, for sure Thanks for posting these stats though, they’re always interesting.
I’ve left so many points on my bench, and there wasn’t much I could have done differently aside from not starting Jeudy in week 2. The process and decision were fine, but it was unlucky he got hurt early in the game. It’s just crazy that the #3 overall WR so far has been on my bench every week. I’m probably starting him this week since I have two questionable RBs for one starting spot, so of course he’ll slow down this week.
It’s so predictable, it’s almost like it isn’t random.
Late last night I switched out Derrick Henry for Alvin Kamara. Henry has a rough matchup this week, and I figured Kamara would get a lot more work with all the other offensive injuries for NO. I completely forgot it was a London game, and I just happened to not be able to sleep. Around 3am, I figured I may as well stay up and watch the F1 race, which ended up being delayed. Right before I was going to take a nap, the news came down that Kamara was inactive. Very fortunate that I happened to not sleep
This was the first week since week 13 of last year where my opponent’s defense did not score in double digits.
This is the third week in a row I’ve had a player on my bench score at least 27. I never truly considered starting any of them, though I could have reasonably started 2. Solid week though, even with another Kamara game lost to injury
Looks like we have a new lowest score of all time, courtesy of Ol_Gaffer. This is the first score ever in the 30s. Ellis held the record for 7 years before Omni took it last year.
T.J. Hockenson was freed from his curse and promptly had the 5th highest TE score in our league’s history for dale. I keep track of these for fun, but should I keep track of ones that happen on benches in addition to starting rosters? I like the complete information, I don’t like the work
I have five and a half more points than Beef through four weeks. I am three games behind Beef in the standings. In fact, I am fifth in total points on the season but I’m 1-3.
I do not, in fact, regret undrafting Brian Robinson. I have been totally dependent on Olave this year; my WRs have been banged up right out of the gate.
You couldn’t have known he would get hurt on the third play. It probably would have worked out had he not gotten hurt.
I very nearly started Russell Wilson. My matchup with RNATB is projected to be close, so I figured I could use the upside of the Carr/Davante stack. I truly hope it doesn’t end up worse than Wilson’s turd-in-the-drawers performance
