It’s incredible that a dude that got shot twice in the leg only missed 4 weeks.
I’m hurting at receiving positions. Pitts and his backup Knox are both out. Rashod Bateman, Jahan Dotson, DJ Chark, and Allen Robinson is worse, washed up. We might see the debut of Donovan Peoples-Jones on my starting roster.
I’m unhappy about starting the Jets defense this week, but I see no other choice. Giants DEF versus Packers? London generally means less offense, but the unproven Giants defense against Aaron Rodgers? No thank you. My other choices were the Browns DEF against the Chargers (nope) or the Steelers DEF against the Bills (hell no.) Jets DEF against the Tua-less Dolphins it is.
Good start for me today. I have redzone on the TV and the Browns game on the monitor. Josh Allen 98 yard TD and Nick Chubb 41 yard TD run almost at the same time.
Meh, if it really is just a broken bone then I stand by my woohoo. Out for 6-8 weeks and then you’re fine, no lingering problems. If it’s a torn MCL or something like that then my bad; I’m just going by what Hamlet said.
Penny’s playing under a one year, $5.75 million dollar “prove it” contract, hoping he’d be able to sign a long term hefty deal after this year. That broken leg likely cost him million of dollars in real money with real security in his real life. Celebrating that loss because of fantasy isn’t cool.
Plus, it’s kinda a dick move to celebrate me losing a guy for the rest of the season. But, as always, YMMV. Hopefully, karma is listening.
I am projected to win a pretty tough game against RNATB, but I’ll need some help. If the KC defense shuts down what has been a pretty anemic LV offense, I could easily lose. The stats say that is unlikely, but this has been a season where the unlikely has been happening on a regular basis.
There were some massive scores this week, and it looks like a pretty wide gulf has formed between the contenders and pretenders in the league this season. Still lots of time, injuries, and byes to even things out though
Well I was mostly celebrating because you personally lost him, not that he was hurt. It seems more serious than just a broken bone; looks like he needs surgery and is out for season. So that’s my bad, and unfortunately I do now expect a major injury to karmicly hit my team in the near future. Something like Kelce out for season in the first quarter tonight. I do feel bad for Penny. For your team, though, I don’t feel bad at all. I’m rather pleased, actually.
Like I said, cheering for and enjoying injuries is a dick move. But you do you.
Luckily, I still kicked your sorry ass this week, despite all my injuries. So take your loss and your pathetic .437 career winning percentage, and go back to relying for everyone but you to get unlucky in order to win.
Yeah, that’s kind of the point. Cry me a fucking river Johnny 180.
As for you personally, stay classy. Remember this gem from last week? That was a mighty uncharitable way to misread my post. I guess I missed the part where you said “Oh sorry, my mistake.” Maybe if you had shown even a minimal amount of common courtesy I wouldn’t delight in any misfortune that befalls you.
