SDMB Fantasy Football DYNASTY League: Year 14

Sure woulda been, no doubt, but here in the NYC market I got the Jets game instead. That would have been fun to watch live instead of blasting through as a shorty. Pretty annoyed at myself for not starting the Jets DEF.

Aaron Rodgers getting crushed in a loss still outscored all my other QBs. I don’t think he’s ever scored below 16 this season, though he’s done that a few times. You might scoff at a bar that low but I almost started Daniel Jones last week. Jones scored SEVEN. Fuckin’ worthless. (He had scored 30 the week before to Rodgers’ 18 or whatever, so I was tempted. 7!)

Maybe, but I bet none of Kelce, Gronk or Graham ever put up big numbers on anyone’s bench. 100% no-question starters, every time.

I am still on course for the #1 draft pick, though Chris Olave might disagree.

Me and CJ2K had such high hopes.

Thank you for your service.

Looks like the entire Northeast Corridor won this week, 4-0. Northeast represent!

Go us! It’s time we got back to being the strongest division again.

Unrelated to fantasy, but pour one out for Jason Verrett, has now torn two ACLs and two Achilles’. Feels like that is unprecedented in the NFL.

@Hamlet you have someone out in your flex spot, you’ve got a few players you could swap in.

Josh Allen has an injured elbow and I was thinking I’d make a game time decision whether I’d switch to Geno Smith and I totally forgot Seattle was playing in Europe this week and their game was over before I woke up.

I watched Atlanta since it was the Thursday night game. I was worried that Kyle Pitts sucks because his performance has been awful this year, but it’s really Mariota. Pitts is open all the time and usually makes the most of his opportunity, but Mariota just misses him all the time, both noticing that he’s open and just wildly inaccurate passes when he throws his way. They should be starting someone else sooner than later and Pitts should take off.

Looks like my playoff hopes are about to come crashing down thanks to Omni whoopin’ my ass. Finally got a point-scorer in Justin Fields, huh? Nice.

Stupid discourse

Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread, so now I have to add this pointless text so that discourse won’t refuse to post an immediate duplicate in a different thread.

Justin (or someone) said I couldn’t stay at the bottom of the rankings with 4 consecutive games against the worst teams in the league coming up. But look at me now - I have successfully undefeated three of four and I will soon be 2+ games back of everyone. That said, this is the first week that my fire sale has really ruined my performance. Eno Benjamin didn’t just go back to the bench with Conner returning, he’s buried under the stadium. Jerry Jeudy’s first play injury didn’t help either.

Bonus: I am also dead last in He Hate Me this year. I wonder if that’s a record.

Yeah, it was me. Tough break RNATB. Although you’re right, you’re now in very good position for the first overall pick.

I guess better luck next week against me…

Eno Benjamin has now been cut by the Cards despite playing very well in his three starts. I can only assume he ducked Kingsbury’s daughter or some Kyler’s Xbox controller.

He must have bitched really hard that Conner got his job back. It’s entirely guesswork on my part, but either his attitude or his study habits had to have been an F minus. It didn’t make sense that he never got a chance the last two years, except for those things

*fucked / stole

Thank you autocorrect.

Pyrrhic victory for the Peteys. I’m temporarily the number 1 seed, but with Kupp out for the rest of the fantasy season, any hopes of me winning the championship are dashed. Blegh.

Yeah, that’s rough, but congrats on your clinched playoff spot anyway.

I’ve got a WR or two available if you’re looking for a trade.

I have fallen to the Ham-faced Ham goblin for a second loss in a row. I am 4 games ahead of the second best wildcard team so I am likely in the playoffs anyway, but I’m gonna see if I can lose out just to make this interesting.

My team is definitely capable of getting hot, but I’d guess there’s probably a less than 10% chance I repeat as champion. Too many disappointments this year.
